  2.                        PRINTING WITH BEST BET
  3.                        ----------------------

  5.   BEST BET uses the built-in printing features of MSDOS.  MSDOS supports
  6. printing the current contents of the display screen and turning printer
  7. "logging" on/off.  If you encounter difficulties with printing, make sure
  8. that you are able to use MSDOS for printing (or consult your MSDOS docu-
  9. mentation).

  11.   There are two ways to print with Best Bet:
  12.  
  13.   1) Print log of what shows on the screen to the printer.
  14.  
  15.   To turn printer logging On, hold the "Ctrl" key while pressing the "P" key
  16. once.  This turns printer logging on.
  17.  
  18.   All program actions from that point onward will be directed to the
  19. printer.  Note that if your printer hangs up for some reason (such as when 
  20. the printer buffer gets full, an out of paper or off-line condition ),
  21. using this option could slow or stop the program temporarily.  If this 
  22. happens, clear the printer problem and the program will continue.

  24.   To turn printer logging Off, hold the "Ctrl" key while pressing the "P" key
  25. once.  All program printer logging should now stop.

  27.   You may use Ctrl-P to turn printer logging On/Off as many times as you
  28. wish and at any point in the program.

  31.   2) Print the current screen contents to the printer.
  32.  
  33.   To print the current screen image to your printer, hold the "Shift" key
  34. down while at the same time pressing the key marked "Print Screen" (also
  35. marked "PrtScr" or something similar on some keyboards).  The screen contents
  36. will now be printed.  NOTE:  If your printer requires a form-feed in order
  37. for it to eject a page (as many laser jet printers do), you may need to go
  38. to your printer and hit the "reset/continue" or similar button.
